How to read a Lilyan date
A Lilyan date names the year, the month, and the day, just as the civil calendar does.
A Lilyan date has the same main parts people expect from a calendar date. It gives a year, a month, and a day of the month.
For example, Lilyan Year 1, Month 3, Day 23 means the twenty third day of the third Lilyan month in Lilyan Year 1. If the month is named Bliss, the shorter form is Bliss 23, LY 1.
The site also shows the civil date beside it. If it says corresponding to 7 June 2026 civil, you can place the Lilyan date on the calendar you already use for appointments and records.
Another example is Lilyan Year 1, Month 11, Day 5. That can be read as Frost 5, LY 1 when Month 11 is Frost. The number gives the position in the Lilyan year, and the name gives the season of the month.
In short
- The month name is part of the Lilyan date.
- The civil date is shown beside it for orientation.
- The same civil day can contain a Lilyan boundary if Bonn true midnight falls inside it.
